Our ethos is to provide a safe and stimulating environment which your pet can enjoy to the full at this Cotswold country retreat. Customer service is paramount and by living on site we are able to provide flexibility with pick up and delivery times to suit you, as well as ensuring your pet has company all day long.

All staff at Fern Farm are qualified in Dog First Aid and are trained in Canine Behaviour.

Camilla has been a licensee for several years and is second generation to run the business. She oversees the running of all aspects of Fern Farm and over the last few years has expanded the range of services and facilities on offer to achieve the sought after five star rating from Wiltshire Council for having the highest standards. Camilla is proud owner of her dachshund Boris and in her spare time enjoys riding her horse Blossom.

Having introduced dog boarding to Fern Farm in the 1980s, Carole has seen the business evolve over the years and is a licensee alongside her daughter Camilla. She has recently retired from being a dog groomer for 25 years but still provides valuable support in the running of the business. In the past, Carole has also been a breeder of Dachshunds and enjoys going on holiday in her motor home.

Spike provides welfare and nutritional support to guests. He graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2006, has gone from running his own six vet practice to specialising more recently in high level performance horses. He is also the vet for the Great Britain Junior Eventing Team. In his spare time, Spike enjoys training his working cocker spaniel ‘Barney’, going to the races and is a keen skier.

Georgie is an experienced City and Guilds qualified Dog Groomer who produces grooms to a very high standard for both day care and boarding guests, as well as local clients. Georgie has a strong understanding of dog behaviour which she transfers to create a calm, stress free environment in the Canine Country Club Salon. Georgie competes in dog agility with her Collie in her spare time.

Colin has over 25 years of experience, offering a full range of classes from puppy training to behaviour consultations here at Fern Farm. He has a positive reinforcement ethos to ‘teach a dog to want to do what you want it to do’ as his philosophy on training. His strong belief in that dog behaviour issues are best corrected with reward based training using classical and operant conditioning techniques makes him a fantastic addition to the team here.
